Mark and I have had quite a busy summer what with our wedding and Nick and Emma's wedding and family trips...and the list goes on! We were pretty excited to have some down time at home this weekend... so we decided to go visit the new Elephant Odyssey at the zoo with my mom. I'm not quite sure I'd call it an odyssey, but it was a fun trip to the zoo and we got to see some cute animals.
I'm not sure what Mark has against normal pictures....oh well, what can ya do?
I don't know what makes a camel's hump fall over... but it makes for one sad looking camel. Poor guy.

I haven't watched the sea lion show in quite some time... but it was pretty cute!

ReplyDeleteAccording to my brief internet search, camels' humps can sag because they are hungry (the fat stored in them has been used up)and they also can sag due to old age...so perhaps we saw and old hungry camel!
